The World Circular Economy Forum 2026
The World Circular Economy Forum 2026 (WCEF2026) brings policymakers, business leaders, researchers, innovators, financiers and civil-society participants together to examine how circular-economy approaches can move from individual projects to large-scale economic and systems transformation. Its 10th edition is being held in India under the theme “Circular Economy: Transition for People and Prosperity.”
The September 15–16 main programme includes four plenaries and 16 parallel sessions, addressing areas such as circular business models, resource efficiency, critical materials, governance, employment, energy systems, sustainable production, financing and value-chain transformation. The programme is designed around scientific evidence and real-world examples of policies, partnerships, technologies and business strategies that can accelerate circularity.
WCEF2026 continues September 17–18 through accelerator sessions organized by partner organizations around the world. These sessions are intended to go deeper into practical implementation and connect the forum’s global ideas with the day-to-day work required to make circular systems operationaL.

What You'll Learn
Participants will learn how governments, businesses, communities and investors are moving beyond the traditional take–make–dispose economy toward systems that reduce waste, retain the value of materials, improve resource efficiency and build more resilient supply chains. Sessions will explore practical approaches involving circular product and service design, extended producer responsibility, secondary-material markets, critical-mineral strategies, circular energy systems, employment, financing, regulation and new business models.
