More than 100 years ago, United Artists was created by artists who wanted freedom from a studio system that controlled what got made, who got paid, and who had access to audiences. Mobilized News is building a modern version of that idea: not another closed studio, but an open exchange where creators, communities, journalists, producers, organizers, educators, and solution builders can find each other, build together, and bring better stories into the world.

The similarity is simple: independence with infrastructure. United Artists gave artists a way to protect creative freedom and reach audiences without being trapped by gatekeepers. Mobilized Exchange does the same for today’s creators and communities, but expands the model beyond film and entertainment. This is for documentaries, podcasts, community stories, public health campaigns, ecological solutions, local action projects, educational media, livestreams, events, and international collaborations.
