2024 Innovate4Cities Conference
Join leaders from academia, government, civil society, and industry at the intersection of cities, climate science, and innovation at the 2024 Innovate4Cities Conference (I4C24), taking place online and in Montreal in September 2024.
Building on the success of the previous past Innovate4Cities conferences, the 2024 edition is geared towards contributing valuable insights and best practices to shape global climate policies and advance collaborative solutions, as we navigate the climate challenges of today and tomorrow.
Innovate4Cities (I4C) is the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (GCoM) city-focused research and innovation initiative. I4C identifies, shares, and generates local knowledge, research, and innovation opportunities – and equips cities and local governments with the spaces, networks, partnerships, and tools needed to accelerate climate ambition and implementation. If addressed, this knowledge would drive science-based, technology-driven, replicable sustainable action and implementation at the scale the world needs and cities demand.
