There is an urgent need to reconnect to nature, to foster harmony and tear down the structures that are built on one dominating the other.   Human over nature.  Man over woman.  One part of humanity over another.   

Structures that result in conflict, loss of democratic space and human rights, injustice, over-consumption by some, lack of resources for many.  Loss of biodiversity. Pollution, and a changing climate. 

Structures that endanger the Web of Life, our health and welfare, 

We need cooperation and trust instead of competition and suspicion, well being for nature and for  all living beings instead of a focus on personal wealth and power.   The good news is that these systems were built by humans and we have the power to change them.”

Mobilized: Actions Speak Louder than Words

Our Vision: Unite millions of people across siloed organizations to form a global movement for real system change.

Our Challenge: Recognize and address the root cause of our ongoing crises.

Interdependence:

  • Our world systems are breaking down due to neglect of interdependence.
  • We need to reconnect with nature and foster harmony.
  • Dismantle structures of dominance: human over nature, man over woman, one part of humanity over another.

Current Issues:

  • Conflict, loss of democratic space, and human rights.
  • Injustice, over-consumption by some, and lack of resources for many.
  • Loss of biodiversity, pollution, and a changing climate.
  • Endangerment of the Web of Life, our health, and welfare.

The Way Forward:

  • Replace competition and suspicion with cooperation and trust.
  • Prioritize well-being for nature and all living beings over personal wealth and power.

  • Rethink our actions, activism, and the stories we tell.
  • Share wisdom and turn it into action, fostering unity. Community commons, social action network based on “The Commons” featuring several systems working in synergy for the health of the whole.

Distribution of Good:

  • Utilize existing tools, technology, and movements to embrace these ideas.
  • Communities should come together, sharing wisdom without borders.

Understanding the Root Cause:

  • Our systems are built on the flawed concept of independence, whereas all life is interdependent.
  • Our system of Gross National Product (GNP) is fundamentally flawed: infinite growth on a finite planet leads to crisis.

The Challenge with Past Efforts:

  • Global summits and conferences have focused on temporary fixes, masking problems for the next generation.
  • Transition from talk to action with our own social ACTION media is needed.

Our Choice:

  • Continue as we have, divided and in conflict.
  • Or unite, share wisdom, and put ideas into action for the changes we want in the world.

Our Opportunity:

  • Unite in solidarity, share wisdom, and reclaim health and well-being for all.
  • Collaboration and cooperation over proprietary thinking.

Next Steps:

  • After years of producing solutions-focused content, we are uniting people globally to create a commons-based information structure dedicated to doing things differently.
