“People didn’t want to believe that the Government would cover up the scandals of child abuse, child trafficking and guardianship.” — Nick Bryant.
The responsibility of media is to inform, inspire, help people understand our world, to hold power to account, and to enable people to discuss situations and make their own conclusions.
Due to the elaborate structure of networks, many of the legacy institutions we once trusted to properly inform us, have failed to do so. Infact, this New Yorker writing this story knows first hand that major media outlets in New York obfuscated what they already knew to be true about our current president, only to cover it up for the love of ratings—and for the love of the financial gains that would emerge from said ratings.
While Mobilized News is committed to amplifying the stories of what’s working in the world–with a GPS to help people navigate information overload, we are also committed to helping investigative journalists amplify their stories. This way, we, the people of the world, can learn from the past mistakes and errors of organizations and create a more informed public. Investigative journalist, Nick Bryant, uncovered Jeffrey Epstein’s black book.
In an attempt to secure a publisher for this information, every major media outlet, radio, television and print—refused to do so…with one exception. Gawker.com, led by Nick Denton, published the names on the list, and eliminated their telephone numbers. While the list did not confirm any illegal actions, what it did was inform people who he was in contact with.
The published black book information can still be found in the archive, here. There is still a remaining hesitance for media outlets and government officials to release the information.
But it doesn’t stop here. There is a demanding need for stories of corruption to be uncovered and prosecuted. And it’s not so easy when people are living in a state of fear. Instead–we need courage and bravery from all people involved.
- Is it sensitive?
- Can it bring down the current economic system?
- What dangers does this information hold for those listed?
- How can the public make sense of the ongoing coverups, sensationism, and politicking of this information.
- And what could be the outcome of making this information public?
Right here, right now, Mobilized News is releasing an exclusive interview that occurred on Thursday, March 19 between the following people:
