📣 Call for Submissions
Why it matters:
Transportation and mobility systems shape access to jobs, health care, education, and community life. Around the world, communities are redesigning how people move—making systems safer, cleaner, more affordable, and locally accountable.
Most of these stories never reach the spotlight.
Mobilized wants to change that.
The ask
Mobilized Creators Studio is seeking story submissions that document how communities are restoring transportation and mobility systems—right where they are.
This is about movement as a public good, not just vehicles.
What we’re looking for
Stories that show mobility systems redesigned for people, including:
- 🚍 Community-led public transit and fare innovations
- 🚲 Safe streets, active transportation, and micromobility
- 🚗 Shared mobility, cooperatives, and local fleets
- ⚡ Clean mobility and electrification improving air quality
- 🏘 Transit-oriented development strengthening neighborhoods
- 🧑🤝🧑 Governance models that put mobility decisions in community hands
Formats welcome:
- Short documentaries or video stories
- Reported features or case studies
- Photo essays or visual explainers
- Audio stories or interviews
The lens
Strong submissions help answer:
- What mobility problem did the community face?
- How did people organize to change the system?
- What improved—access, safety, affordability, health, or equity?
- Who governs the system now, and how is accountability maintained?
- What can other communities replicate or adapt?
What happens next
Selected stories may be:
- Published across Mobilized platforms
- Featured in collaborative documentary projects
- Distributed through partner and public media networks
- Used as practical learning tools for other cities and regions
Creators retain ownership and participate through Mobilized’s cooperative, creator-first studio framework.
