Afrosonic Music: March towards Justice

In The Afrosonic Taxi, we’re riding with artists who carry on the spirit of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Connecting cultures with music. Host DJK takes listeners on a journey through music with African roots worldwide. From night clubs in Dakar to festivals in Bahia, from recording studios in Havana to family compounds on the streets of Lagos. We follow the African diaspora to the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe, but never stray far from the beat of the Mother Continent.

Each show features artists who are putting out hopeful, intelligent music that can lift listeners up and make them move.
