Call for Submissions: “Give the People What they Want!”
After the success of our most recent feature documentaries, TV series and Daily Do-its, Mobilized News is now set to become an International Network for a world in transition. “Give the People What They Want” is the final episode in our trilogy and takes our audiences on a journey to understand what’s on the minds and in the hearts of people everywhere.
“There is a difference between being treated as mass consumers and and active citizenry, ” says Mobilized News co-Founder Steven Jay.
“As the corporate, industrial economic systems continue to break down and fail us, people are actively seeking alternatives. People everywhere are fed up, being told that we need to consume things we don’t really need, tired of being lied to by public officials. “
“People are tired of being lied to by corporations, by media and their leaders and are seeking better choices that enable communities to take back their power away from corporations, restore economic health to their communities, and to create a more locally-based ecosystem of systems, services and policies that reflect the needs of people without harming our big and beautiful planet which sustains all life.”
Stop complaining and start creating.
We now seeks the constructive voices of empowered and ethical community leaders as well as community citizens who feel their voices need to be heard. Here’s how to take part:
- Record a one to four minute video with any of your digital devices (including your smart phones)
- Share a story of what you want our world to look like
- Please do not use any profanity.
- Stories should be concise and provide clarity and action.
- Provide information from personal or community experience.
- Stories should be constructive and thought provoking.
- When necessary, provide insights on what action steps can be taken to achieve the goal.
- Submission now open until Sept 10, 2024
